I’m not a morning person. My snooze button has been worn smooth by years of abuse. So when the hubs greeted me before coffee with, “Wanna do something crazy?” — I just blinked.

Within 24 hours, we were on the road. VEGAS, BABY! Snacks and coffees in hand, we were heading to a concert. A quick trip out of town before the start of the school year (hubs is a teacher). I’d never driven to Las Vegas, so the drive through the desert was interesting. My mind kept seeing movie scenes from old westerns and horror films. Along the way, there was even a graveyard for airplanes. NOT a mirage. ✈️

A trip like this and the old me would’ve panicked, checked the bank account twice, and maybe cried about money. But this me? This me saw the abundance in every unexpected mile.

Time with the hubs that didn’t include reruns and screen time? Priceless. Dancing the night away with bright lights and thumping music? Energizing. Impulsive choices that created memories instead of clutter? Powerful. 🗝️

I also received a gift from the Universe recently. I had asked if my business launch was ready. I wasn’t sure which sign to request, but got TWO! 🤯 I had been thinking about smiley faces and humming birds. They both showed up while I was mindlessly scrolling through social media. I guess you really do get what you need when you’re loosening your grip on the steering wheel of life.

This whole journey into business has been that way:  tears, fears, U-turns, breakthroughs. And through it all, I’ve learned my most powerful tools are the inner work I’ve done, the pauses for gratitude, and the willingness to let go when something better is coming. ✨

Here’s my wish for you:  find your own tools, the ones that align with your highest self. Lead your own path – but don’t walk it alone. Let it lead you to your people, your moments, your magic. 🔮

So this week, say yes to something spontaneous. Take the detour. Buy the ticket. Enjoy the martini. Then pause. Give thanks. See how it changes you.

Until next time…☮️ ❤️ 😃
