First Thought
Where are my keys?
Who moved my shoes?
I was going to eat that last cookie. Not really.
This should be easy. I’m not stupid. Why can’t I figure this out?
Why am I crying because I can’t find my shoes?
Maybe I need another planner.
Maybe I need another nap.
Maybe I need to stop opening seventeen tabs.
“I’m going to the store.” You sit in your car and cry because it’s the only room in your life with a lock on the door.
I don’t even know what I need right now.
I Get It
Been there.
I tried the things. Therapy. Self-care. Reiki before I knew what Reiki was.
Some of it helped.
But I still found myself overwhelmed, exhausted, and wondering why everything felt harder than it should.
I retired from education thinking the pressure would finally lift.
Instead, I started a business.
Because apparently I enjoy creating my own plot twists.
Here’s what I figured out:
I wasn’t broken.
I wasn’t lazy.
I wasn’t failing.
I was carrying more than my system knew how to hold.
I’m not here to help you become someone new.
I’m here to help you find the version of yourself that got buried under survival mode.
Now I Know
You can only carry seventeen tabs, three emotional kitchen fires, and everyone else’s expectations for so long.
Eventually, something has to give.
You don’t need to be fixed.
You need enough space to breathe again.
To wake up and not immediately brace.
To make a decision without second-guessing it into the ground.
To stop performing “fine” for everyone in your orbit.
Underneath the stress, the overthinking, and the survival mode…you’re still in there.
And she’s probably exhausted.
Let’s go find her.
