Oh, blog fog.

You were my reality a couple of weeks ago. I sat at my desk, tried to write something meaningful, but the words just… didn’t breathe. I was forcing inspiration, trying to be poetic. Just blah.

So, I pivoted.

I poured my energy into something lighter: refining my mini course messaging and laying the groundwork for my spiritual entrepreneur community. I was on fire. Tasks were getting done. Old ideas found their place.
I finally felt aligned.

Then came a beautiful escape — a getaway to the coast for my son’s 22nd birthday. 🌊
There was amazing food, new beaches to explore, and kayaking in the Pacific Ocean. It filled me up in every way.

But when I got home?

Back to business! Let’s go! Energized! Ready to dive back in!

NOPE.
I opened my laptop and… nothing. My to-do list stared back, but I couldn’t figure out where to start. It was like my brain needed its own unpacking day.

And right on cue — self-doubt crept in.

What the frog am I doing trying to run a business?

Breathe, Babb!
I reminded myself:  “You deserve to be here!”

🌀 The Mindset Reset That Brought Me Back

A memory from my teaching days snapped me back into alignment.

Every time we returned from a school break, we never jumped into new lessons on Day 1.
We eased in.

  • First, the kids reconnected with friends.
  • Then we’d play games to review old material.
  • I gave their brains space to warm back up — no pressure, no new topics.

And I thought…
Why don’t we do that as entrepreneurs?

🌱 How I Eased Back Into My Business Flow (And You Can Too)

If you’re feeling scattered or unmotivated after time off, you’re not broken — you’re in transition. Try this gentle reentry ritual to ease back into business mode after a break:

✅ Celebrate Recent Wins

Before the vacation, I created a full agenda for my upcoming community — including games, learning activities, and a welcome kit. I let myself feel proud of that.

📊 Review Your Numbers (Not from Shame, But from Curiosity)

I updated my KPI tracker. My social media views? Going up. Email list? Growing. Tiny steps forward are still steps forward.

🧠 Reframe Negative Feelings With Gentle Awareness

Instead of rushing into new content, I reread the posts I drafted before my trip. Most still felt aligned. A few needed a tweak. It reminded me that I’m on the right path — just moving through a foggy moment.

💫 Ease Is a Strategy

One of the best things you can do when returning to your spiritual business after time away is to give your mind space to transition.

Hustle doesn’t equal progress.
Alignment creates momentum.

You’re not lazy for needing time. You’re not failing for feeling fuzzy.
You’re recalibrating — and that’s smart business.

🌊 If You’re in the Fog Too…

Here’s your permission slip to ease back in:

  • Take a walk before you write.
  • Revisit your vision before tackling your checklist.
  • Celebrate the little wins. They do matter.

You are the reason your business is growing. Not your to-do list. Not your pace.
You.

So keep showing up in your own way, at your own rhythm.
Even if today’s biggest task is just writing a blog post and calling it a win.

You’re meant to be here.
And if slow and steady feels like your vibe right now, let that be enough.
