What has been the hardest thing you’ve done lately? One thing for me has been religiously practicing the drums, specifically working on a Journey song, “Just the Same Way.” I was out of town for a few days, so there are some days I need to catch up on by spending more time behind the kit. My biggest challenge has been creating a website that I am proud of, that will help me showcase my skills, that provides evidence that I can add value to a business.
The first few weeks of having my site up and shared has been quiet. It only takes one client to create a change in progress, a growth with my abilities. I am learning more about myself as I begin finding my ideal project/client; I’ve started to adjust my understanding of what my role is as a copywriter, storyteller, and creative. It’s a lot different than being an educator, but a lot of overlap, too. That’s great! 😎
So, here’s to uniqueness, hooks, stories, and work…Oh My!
